I will never forget the last time I saw Pat. I was out at Cowboys and incredibly drunk and fighting with my future wife. Pat was trying to get my attention, but I was so caught up in my little world that he had to physically grab my arm and shout my name. I turned around and scowled at him and then I see that It's Pat with this real big smile. It'd been a while since I'd seen him last and I felt terrible that I snapped at him, but I was too proud to change my demeanor. We talked briefly and I went back to my sulking.

A few months later, Pat was gone, and I immediately thought of that night, and of all the things I wished I had said. That is one night I wish I had back.
